Under simulated flood scenarios, the fleet efficiently completed aerial reconnaissance, emergency communications relay, and precision supply delivery — the largest and most comprehensive aerial force in the drill.
Air-Ground Synergy, Racing the Clock
The drill simulated a record rainstorm causing a "three-outage" scenario: roads, power, and communications down. Traditional rescue forces could not reach the core disaster zone within 6 hours; NingHang's UAV fleet, as the first responder, rapidly established aerial comms and reconnaissance links.
Three UAV types each had distinct roles:
- Reconnaissance models (4 units): mapped a 5 km² area within 30 minutes, auto-identifying 17 trapped-person and dam-risk points, streaming live footage to the command center;
- Relay models (4 units): tethered aerial base stations restoring voice/data links between the disaster zone and command for 8 continuous hours, covering a 15 km radius;
- Delivery models (4 units): up to 15 kg payload per sortie, precisely delivering 120 items — life jackets, emergency food, and medical supplies — to 3 trapped locations, with landing error under 2 meters.

NingHang Service's emergency-rescue system is not improvised — it is a standing aerial emergency force built over years, with complete equipment, personnel, and contingency reserves:
- Equipment: maintains 50+ UAVs on standby, deployable cross-region within 2 hours;
- Personnel: 80+ licensed pilots, including 30 emergency-rescue-certified specialists, on 24/7 rotation;
- Playbook library: standardized operating plans for 12 scenarios including floods, earthquakes, wildfires, and hazmat incidents.
The drill fully validated the combat-readiness of NingHang Service's system. Post-drill, emergency-management authorities from three Yangtze River Delta cities have engaged NingHang on strategic cooperation to integrate the system into local response plans.
